Norwalk Police Charge Fairfield Man With Sexual Assault

NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk Police charged a Fairfield man with sexual assault after an incident Monday where he was accused of inappropriately touching and attacking a woman, according to the Hour.

Police responded to a home on Strawberry Hill Avenue at around 9 p.m. Monday on a report of a disturbance, according to the Hour. A woman told police that 34-year-old William Sellers, with whom she had been in a relationship, came to the home and had toucher her inappropriately, the Hour reported. 

She also said that he attacked her after she struck him, and that he tried to choke her and smashed her cell phone, the Hour reported. Sellers turned himself in to Norwalk Police and was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault, third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct, according to the Hour.
