Man Caught Behind Business Had Realistic-Looking Metal BB Gun, Police Say

A Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly trespassing and having a realistic-looking metal BB gun in the console of his vehicle.

Pedro Reynoso, 50 of Bethel, was stopped by Wilton Police after being spotted behind the Bruce Bennett Service Center manipulating a pile of tires behind the building on Sunday, Feb. 9, said Lt. Robert Kluk.

A check revealed that Reynoso's license was suspended. Officers then searched his vehicle and allegedly found the BB gun in the center console of his vehicle. 

Reynoso was charged with having a weapon in a vehicle, trespassing and driving with a suspended license.

He was held on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, Feb. 20.
