Christine Baker Welton of Rowayton, formerly of Stamford, died on April 30. She was 81 years old.
Welton was a devoted member of the United Rowayton Church and reached out to help those in need.
She is survived by three children, Barbara Smith and her husband, William, of Stamford, David Baker Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Bridgeport, and Susan DiRoma and her husband, Robert, of Stamford; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, at United Rowayton Church, 210 Rowayton Ave., at 11 a.m.
