NORWALK, Conn. -- City zoning officials gave approval of plans for the SoNo Collection, a shopping center in South Norwalk, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The center will have Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s, a hotel and other retail shops, with building beginning maybe in August, developers told The Wall Street Journal.

New apartment complexes have moved into the area, including the Sheffield SoNo and Corset Factory, the Journal said.
