Saks Greenwich Helps You Shop for a Cause

Looking for a really great excuse to go shopping? Saks Fifth Avenue in Greenwich has one.

During the month of February, Saks will donate five percent of all registered purchases made with a Saks credit card to local charities. The beneficiaries of this month-long event are Greenwich Hospital, Greenwich Ballet Academy, Jacob’s Cure, REACH Prep and The YMCA of Greenwich. When you check out, you can select which charity you would like to receive the funds from your purchase.

“We appreciate our customers’ charitable involvement,” said Steve Sadove, Chariman and CEO of Saks Inc. “And look forward to giving back locally with this exciting and newly implemented national program.”

The giving keeps going online, too. Any purchase made on Saks.com with a Saks credit card during the month of February will automatically translate into a five percent of the total purchase price being donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

And, if you’re looking for an excuse for a Girls’ Night Out, Saks has you covered there, too. Thursday, Feb. 23, Saks will host a charity shopping event from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Greenwich Saks location, complete with local eats, cocktails and entertainment.
