Ridgefield Kitchens Open Their Doors

The Ridgefield Kitchen Tour has been a huge success every year for the last eight years.  On Friday, May 21 from 10:00am – 2:00pm, the ninth annual self-guided tour of seven homes shouldn’t be any different.  Tour-goers are invited to visit some splendid kitchens in Ridgefield.  Faithful tour-goers love the tour and look forward to it every year.  It’s a wonderful way to get new ideas and see different styles of cabinetry, flooring and appliances.  It’s also a great opportunity for those who are remodeling or building to be inspired and discover new vendors for their projects.    This year’s tour is sponsored by Doyle/Coffin Architecture, Laura Freed of William Pitt Sotheby’s, Venture Portraits, Clark Construction, Putnam Kitchens, Douro Granite and Marble, Albano Appliances and Stone Resources.

The seven marvelous kitchens on the tour have state-of-the-art appliances, custom cabinetry, and distinctive tile and stonework. Whether your style is traditional, modern or somewhere in between, this year’s Ridgefield Kitchen Tour promises to make tour-goers daydream about their next project.

At every home, visitors can get a “taste” from caterers and restaurants supporting the tour including:  Ancona’s Market, Bernard’s, Brendan’s at The Elms, The Cake Box, Charlotte Berwind Fine Foods, Collyer Catering LLC, The Cutting Board, Daily Fare and No. 109 Cheese Market.

Tickets are $85 including a patron breakfast catered by Bernard’s at a Peaceable Street home not on the tour.  The tour only is $40.  All proceeds benefit: The Ridgefield Playhouse, The Aldrich Museum, Maimonides Academy of Western Connecticut, and The Women’s Center of Danbury.  Tickets are available at Squash’s, Bella Home and Maimonides Academy in Ridgefield.
