Fashionistas: Flock to This Fundraiser

Jennifer Butler is back with another fashionable fundraiser. Tuesday, Sept. 27, the Fairfield designer will unveil her 2011 fall collection in a fashion show at the Delamar Hotel in Southport. It’s all happening to benefit the Fairfield Public Library.

Butler is the reigning queen of sleek, edgy designs that somehow work as well on Main St. as they do on Park Ave. This season, her fans can expect more of her signature attention to detail she employs in ways both subtle and bold. Models will work the runway in looks for daytime and evening, along with outwear, bridal and menswear.

This isn’t Butler’s first foray into charitable chic. A regular organizer of fashion shows to benefit local artistic institutions, her fundraising efforts are now a celebrated part of the fabric of her community.

Artisan restaurant will provide cocktails and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 6:30. Models hit the catwalk at 7:30.
