I started my professional life as a research psychologist (not the "do you love your mother" kind). I enjoyed research and teaching, but noticed that I spent most of my non-classroom time writing and editing, often to help other people.

When I left academia,  all the "you should be a writer" admonitions followed me to job interviews. I've been squeezing in part-time writing and editing jobs for about 9 years, so now I am happily doing it full time.

Walmart Will Use Wood-Grain Reusable Containers Walmart’s Vice President of Produce, Dorn Wenninger, announced that the store will switch from black reusable plastic containers (RPCs) to wood-grain RCPs for all produce in all stores, as reported in Supermarket News. Wenninger said that the wood-grain RPCs shows customers their commitment to fresh produce and their use makes shopping at Walmart a better experience.
