He was born Feb. 3, 1947, in Sinait, Province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines; he has lived in North Arlington since 1990. He worked as a chemical engineer for Block Drug in Jersey City for many years before retiring seven years ago. Frederick Boehmer, 95, Of Yorktown Heights YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Frederick R. Boehmer, a longtime resident of Yorktown Heights, died Oct. 28, 2016.  He was born Dec. 8, 1920. He graduated from Yorktown High School and was in the U.S. Army from 1940-45, where he served in the 85th Fighter Squadron 79th Fighter Group. In 1942, he married Marion Jarvis.
