The incident took place in Brookfield around 3:15 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, on Route 7 northbound in the area of the Junction Road overpass. Brookfield Volunteer firefighters and EMS were dispatched for a single-car accident with fire and entrapment, the department said on Facebook. Officers Rescue Two Ansonia Women From Burning House, Police Say Two Connecticut women were rescued from their burning home as flames surrounded them. The fire took place around 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15, in New Haven County at a home on Spring Street in Ansonia. According to Lieutenant Patrick Lynch, of the Ansonia Police Department, the department received a call from a resident on Spring Street reporting her house was on fire and she was trapped.  The first two officers on the scene, Sgt. The fire started around 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 5, at 1130 Williams St. in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management for Bridgeport. According to Appleby, the first arriving units reported fire on the second floor which had extended to the third floor. Man Badly Burned During House Fire In Area Firefighters were able to save a person trapped inside a garage while the structure was on fire. The incident took place around 1:47 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 22, at 45 Mill Pond Road, said Stratford Assistant. Fire Chief/Fire Marshall Robert Daniel.
