The Fairfield County pair was arrested on Sunday, March 17 in Rockland County, according to the New York State Police. Report: Athlete From New England Died After Choking During Charity Contest A college student from the Hudson Valley who died over the weekend in Massachusetts choked during an eating contest for charity, according to a report. Rockland County resident Madie Nicpon, age 20, a 2019 graduate of Suffern High School, was a junior at Tufts University in Massachusetts.
