5 Students Injured In West Haven School Bus Crash
This story has been updated. Five students were transported to a hospital, and 10 were evaluated for injuries following a crash involving a school bus and a truck in Connecticut. The crash occurred in West Haven around 9 a.m., Thursday, March 14 on Campbell Street near Terrace Avenue. A student in Connecticut has been arrested after police say he sent threatening messages. Town of Fairfield Police Department detectives working in collaboration with school safety officers arrested the 15-year-old who attends Fairfield Ludlowe High School on Saturday, March 5 following a lengthy investigation of a veiled threat made to several classmates. Some schools in Connecticut were forced to close on Monday, Jan. 31 as the state continues to clean up from the weekend storm that dumped more than a foot of snow in certain parts of the region. A Fairfield County school was asked to shelter-in-place after a student brought a suspicious package to school. The incident took place early Tuesday, Dec. 7, at the Rogers International School on Blachley Road in Stamford. According to Sg.
