CT Woman Hitting Curbs, Crossing Into Traffic, Nabbed For DUI, Police Say
A Fairfield County woman was busted for alleged DUI after she was seen by police sticking the roadside curbs and crossing over the double-yellow line.
Norwalk resident Christina Alicea, age 29, was charged on Sunday, April 21, on Post Road in Darien.
According to Darien Police Sgt. Dan Skoumbros, a Darien officer observed a vehicle traveling eastbound on Post Road that swerved to the right into the shoulder, striking the curb, and then was seen crossing over the double-yellow line.

Shampoo Swipers Snag $4,500 From CVS In CT, Police Say
A duo took thousands of dollars worth of hair care from a CVS store in Fairfield County, authorities announced.
The Fairfield County incident occurred in Darien on Thursday, March 7.
At about 8:15 a.m., an employee at the CVS located at 964 Post Road went to their manager, informing him that the shampoo aisle was “looking low,” according to Darien Police.
The manager reviewed a store camera, which captured a man and a woman grabbing hair products off the shelves and stuffing them into a tote bag.
A total of $4,590 was taken from the CVS, police said.

A woman was arrested for alleged DUI after being spotted in a damaged vehicle on the side of a roadway in Fairfield County.
The incident took place in Darien around 3:15 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, said Sgt. Dan Skoumbros, of the Darien Police.
Gretchen Miller, age 51, of Stratford, was spotted by a police officer parked on the side of Post Road with heavy front-end damage to the front of her car, Skoumbros said.

Two men have been arrested for allegedly using stolen credit at numerous Fairfield County stores.
Nywain Thomas, age 25, and Eric Wolf, age 22, both of Queens, New York, were arrested in Darien after officers responded to a report of two individuals possibly using fake banking cards, according to authorities.
