Convicted Sex Offender From Region Admits To Child Pornography Offenses
A convicted sex offender from Western Massachusetts could spend decades in prison after admitting to inducing a minor through social media to engage in sexually explicit conduct, federal officials announced. Franklin County resident Charles Fox, age 46, of Greenfield, pleaded guilty in federal court in Springfield to receipt of child pornography after targeting a minor in the Philippines through Facebook messenger. Former Olympian Facing New Charges For Assault On Child In Western Mass, DA Says
A former Olympian in track and field being held in Western Massachusetts on 12 counts of indecent assault and battery on a child, has been indicted with four additional charges. The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office has secured four additional indictments against 69-year-old Conrad Mainwaring after investigators identified two additional victims in connection with complaints that the abuse took place at a camp for boys in Western Massachusetts. Former Western Mass Cop Convicted In Child Sex Abuse Case
A former Western Mass cop has been sentenced to two to three years in prison after being found guilty of several counts in connection with a child sex abuse case, Hampden County resident Daniel Cintron, age 31, of Monson, a former Springfield police officer, had been found guilty in a jury-waived trial in Hampden Superior Court on charges of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and intimidation of a witness.
