The crash happened in the Hartford County town of Manchester at about 9:40 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, Connecticut State Police said.  Police said a 2017 Volkswagen Jetta was traveling west in the right lane of three and struck the man, who was standing in the lane. 23-Year-Old Dies After 3-Vehicle Crash On I-291 In South Windsor A 23-year-old Connecticut man died at the hospital after a three-vehicle crash. The crash happened in South Windsor on westbound I-291 near the Exit 4 on-ramp at about 11:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 14, Connecticut State Police said. Jose Cotto, of Windsor Locks, was riding a 2017 Harley-Davidson XL 1200 Forty-Eight when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the motorcycle and it tipped over, causing Cotto to be separated from the motorcycle, police said.
