Man Dies After Being Struck By 2 Vehicles While Crossing Meriden Highway A man has died after being struck by two vehicles while attempting to cross a busy Connecticut highway. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, March 27 in the area of 1966 North Broad St. in Meriden. Police Asking For Help Tracking Down SVU Used In Bloomfield Homicide Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help finding an SUV wanted in connection with a homicide. The incident took place in Hartford County around 8:50 a.m., Monday, Dec. 4 at the intersection of Bloomfield Avenue and Cottage Grove Road in the Town of Bloomfield. According to Capt. Suspect At Large After Robbery At Bank Inside CT Stop & Shop Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly robbed the Peoples Bank inside a Stop & Shop in Fairfield County. The robbery took place around 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, at the Stop & Shop in Shelton, at 898 Bridgeport Ave. The man walked into the Peoples Bank and handed a teller a note demanding cash while implying he had a gun, said Shelton PD Detective Christopher Nugent.
