Woman Lights Car On Fire At CT Gas Station, Police Say A Fairfield County woman was charged with arson after allegedly setting gasoline that leaked out of her Nissan Cube on fire at a gas station and then walking away.  Paola Monsalve, age 28, of Norwalk was charged in Stamford on Sunday, Dec. 31 around 8:30 p.m. at the Shell station at the corner of Hope and Church streets. Sgt. 5 CT Businesses Busted Selling Vape Products To Minors, Police Say Five Fairfield County businesses have been busted for allegedly selling vaping products and tobacco to minors during a sting operation. The operation took place in Stamford on Thursday, Oct. 20. According to Stamford Police Assistant Chief Richard Conklin, the department NARC and Organized Crime Unit teamed up with the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction after receiving numerous complaints from parents and residents of underage sales.
