CT Man High On Drugs Attempts To Kidnap Child From Car, Police Say A Fairfield County man who police say was high on drugs was captured after allegedly attempting to take a child out of a car and from a woman. The incident occurred in Norwalk around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6 in front of a home on Bouton Street. Norwalk Police patrol officers responded to a report of a man who tried to take a child out of a vehicle. The woman told police that once she unbuckled the child’s seatbelt in the rear of the vehicle, an unknown man reached into the vehicle and began to remove the child from the car, said Lt. Four Schools Put In Lockdown After Shots Fired In Fairfield County, Police Say Four Fairfield County schools were briefly placed on lockdown after shots were fired in the area. The incident took place around in Norwalk around 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 24. Norwalk Police responded to the area of Bouton Street after receiving a 911 call of shots being fired, said Sgt. Sofia Gulino, of the Norwalk Police Department.
