Same Store Burglarized Twice By Suspects From CT In Separate Incidents: Police
A total of eight suspects from Connecticut face charges after stealing from the same Hudson Valley store in two separate incidents, police said. The first of the thefts happened on Tuesday, Aug. 8 just after 4 p.m., when Putnam County Sheriff's Deputies saw several suspects entering and leaving an unnamed store in Southeast and delivering items to a vehicle in the parking lot. According to the Sheriff's Office, the suspects were dressed in bubble jackets which were out of place in the warm weather, and appeared to be hiding items under them. A 25-year-old Fairfield County man faces charges after allegedly interfering with officers as they responded to a house fire in Litchfield County, police said. The incident happened on Tuesday, April 25 around 8 a.m., when police responded to a house in Harwinton at 100 Wildcat Hill Rd. for a reported structure fire, according to state police. Three people were shot and injured during a large unauthorized music event at a Bridgeport park that drew more than 200 people. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 4 p.m., Thursday, April 13 at Seaside Park in the area of West Beach. Three people, including a juvenile, were arrested in connection with gunshots being fired in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk around 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9 in the area of 4 Merritt Street. Norwalk police responded to the area after receiving a 911 call of shots being fired in the area and three men running away, said Sgt. Sofia Gulino, of the Norwalk Police. Four people were arrested in Fairfield County after authorities said they stole mail and checks worth a total of more than $45,000. Officers responded to a report of individuals in a white minivan taking mail and packages from mailboxes in the area of Hawks Hill Road at about 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 26, according to the New Canaan Police Department. A 44-year-old man was apprehended while trying to flee from police after firing shots into the air in a residential Western Massachusetts neighborhood in the middle of the night. Man Accused Of Exposing Himself At CT Target
An area man was arrested at Target for allegedly exposing himself to young juveniles while in the store. New Haven County resident William McClain, 23, of Seymour, on Tuesday, Nov. 17, when Milford Police were summoned to the store at the Post Mall on the report of a male exposing his genitals to young victims, police said.
