Woman Struck By Several Vehicles While Crossing Busy CT Roadway, Police Say
A 43-year-old Connecticut woman was killed after she was struck by multiple vehicles while crossing a busy roadway. The incident took place in New Haven County in Orange around 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 14 on Boston Post Road in front of McDonald's. Responding officers found the victim lying in the roadway with multiple traumatic injuries, said Assistant Chief Max Martins of the Orange Police Department. Connecticut State Police are seeking witnesses to a five-car crash that killed a 27-year-old Connecticut man who was struck on I-91 after getting out of his Honda Accord when it became disabled. Police have released the identity of a man who was found dead in a stairway of a Fairfield County high school. The body of a man was found inside a stairwell at a Fairfield County high school. The man was found on Sunday, May 16 when a person called the Bridgeport Police Department to report they had "come across" a body in the outside stairwell of Bassick High School in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management. Police are awaiting autopsy results after two people were found dead inside a Fairfield County home. The bodies were found around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30 inside the home on Calhoun Avenue, in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of emergency management for Bridgeport.
