Berlin Firefighters responded to 525 Christian Lane at around 1:20 a.m. for reports of numerous automobiles on fire within the locked storage lot, Copart - an online vehicle auction firm.

When they arrived 15-20 motor vehicles were fully involved in a fire, firefighters said. 

It took more than three hours to clear the scene.

Four local fire departments - New Britain, Kensington, Cromwell, and the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection- came together to contain the blaze, according to Berlin firefighters. Rocky Hill and Wethersfield firefighters covered the Berlin fire stations during the fire.

No injuries were reported in the fire. The cause of the blaze is under investigation, firefighters said.
