Sheriff's deputies responded to the Putnam Diner on Saturday, Feb. 1, on Route 22 in Patterson after receiving a call that a human skull had been found in the woods, said the Sheriff's Office. When deputies arrived, they were met by a 35-year-old Carmel man who told deputies he was walking through the woods when he saw what he believed to be a human skull, the department said. Remains Found Near Diner Linked To Fairfield County Woman Who Went Missing A human skull and skeletal remains found by a hunter near an area diner are believed to belong to a woman who went missing in 2017. The remains, which were discovered in Putnam County behind the Putnam Diner on Route 22, in Patterson could be those of Lealcria DeLima, 53, of Danbury. DeLima was last seen on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, leaving home in a 2016 red Honda after telling her two children that she loved them and was going to a local Walmart to pick up a prescription, said Danbury Police at the time. Her car was found by New York State Police in November 2017 behind the diner.…

It started at around 1:50 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5.  At approximately 1:50 a.m., troopers patrolling I-684 in the town of Bedford initiated a traffic stop on a northbound taxi for an infraction of the vehicle and traffic law.  The operator of the 2019 Toyota Camry, identified as Begnauth Renseroop, of Queens, failed to comply, and led troopers on the chase, state police said.
