Beloved CT Native Who Was Mother Of 3 Dies At Age 50 A Hudson Valley mother of three has died at the age of 50. Dutchess County resident Jennifer J. Strang-Thrasher, of Wassaic, died on Sunday, February 4, at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie. Strang-Thrasher, born in Connecticut in the town of Sharon in Litchfield County, was a graduate of Dover High School and Dutchess Community College.  She was a direct care worker at Cardinal Hayes Home for Children in Millbrook, for 30 years, according to her obituary. Fairfield County Man Accused Of Engaging In Sex Act With Minor Found Dead A 46-year-old man accused of engaging in a sexual act with a teenager at an area hotel was reportedly found dead a day before he was to make a court appearance. Northern Fairfield County resident Eric Fenyes, of Sherman, allegedly engaged in sexual conduct with a child in Poughkeepsie earlier this month. He was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 18 and charged with second-degree criminal sexual act. Fenyes, the owner of Fenyes Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning, was found dead in his Mountain Road home in Kent, Connecticut, after fire units and medics responded to the house around 4:15 p.m.…

Fairfield County Native Richard 'Beetle' Bailey, Beloved FD Chaplain, Dies Richard J. Bailey, Sr., the longtime chaplain of the Brewster Fire Department, died Sunday, June 3, at home. Bailey, 87, of Dover Plains, also worked for years as a tree surgeon at Coffin Tree Service in Tarrytown. Born on February 18, 1931, in Danbury, he was the son of the late Myron A. and Blanche Bailey. He was married to Cynthia L.
