King Students Run With The Bulls, Clinch Win In Mock Stock Competition STAMFORD, Conn. — A team of students from King School took home the top place in a mock stock market challenge offered by Junior Achievement of Southwest Connecticut in Stamford on Thursday. During the event, students in teams of four traded $500,000 of virtual cash. The students’ mock trades were instantaneously projected to three large screens, which also displayed stock prices, stock performance graphs and team rankings. A team from New Canaan High School took second place and a team from the Academy of Information Technology & Engineering in Stamford took third place.

Officers were called just before 7 a.m. to F & R Cleaners at 213 Main St. on the report of a possible commercial burglary, police said. When officers arrived, the owner told them the door was intact when he closed up the business Thursday night, police said. Police: Norwalk Man Provoked South Norwalk Bar Customers To Fight NORWALK, Conn. — A Norwalk man was arrested after provoking customers to fight him after he was asked to leave a South Norwalk bar Monday night, police said. Officers were called to Local Kitchen & Beer Bar at 11:40 p.m. on the report of an intoxicated male trying to fight with other customers, police said.
