Hundreds Lose Power In Southern Norwalk Hundreds are reporting power outages in Norwalk early on Thursday afternoon. South Norwalk Electric and Water is working on repairing outages to approximately 400 customers in Norwalk, mostly on Connecticut Avenue, with an estimated time of restoration no later than approximately 1 p.m.  Additionally, as of 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, 633 of Eversource’s 1,270,384 customers were reporting that they were in the dark. Water Main Break Leaves 180 In South Norwalk Without Water UPDATE: SNEW reports that the water main has been repaired and service restored to all customers by late Tuesday afternoon.  NORWALK, Conn. -- About 180 people will be without water in Norwalk on Tuesday after a water main broke on Grove Street. Customers in Monterey Village will be without water for the day as repairs continue, South Norwalk Electric and Water announced Tuesday. Service to the majority of Grove Street has been restored. Drivers are asked to be careful of SNEW workers in the area.
