Victims Flee To Darien Police Station After Wilton Man Strikes Car Two victims of domestic violence fled to the Darien Police Station in an effort to escape their attacker after he rammed into their vehicle, according to Wilton Police. The incident took place around 9:29 a.m. Saturday when Steve A. Campbell, 38, of Wilton, attempted to pick up one of the victims at a Wilton home and while there got into an argument with the second victim, said Lt. Robert Kluk. Darien Tree Conservancy Celebrates Milestone, Welcomes New Board Members DARIEN, Conn. --  Tree Conservancy of Darien celebrated the significant milestone of installing over 600 trees in town at its year-end board of directors meeting on Dec. 5. In addition to reviewing agenda and budget items for the coming year, the local nonprofit also welcomed two new members to its board. Since its inception in 2010, TCD has planted trees at I-95 exits 11 and 13, the Darien train station, along Ledge Road, Darien town beaches, Spring Grove and Veterans cemeteries and Town Hall.
