The incident took place in Shelton at the Walmart located on Bridgeport Avenue around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31. In late April, in Shelton, law enforcement agencies conducted unannounced compliance inspections at 17 locations to see if clerks would sell to underage buyers. Ramon Capacete, of Seymour, was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 24, in Shelton after police officer John Kekac stopped his vehicle for running a red light on Bridgeport Avenue, said Shelton Police Det.
