Duo Wanted In Shelton Armed Robbery, Assault Nabbed, Police Say Two men were nabbed in connection with an armed robbery and assault in Fairfield County. Bridgeport resident Ashan Langston, age 22, and New Haven County resident Jalen Bolton, age 21, of Waterbury, were charged for the Monday, Nov. 27 incident in Shelton. Fairfield County Teen Fighting For Life After Being Shot At School Bus Stop, Police Say A Fairfield County teen is fighting for his life after being shot while waiting at a school bus stop for his young cousin. The incident took place around 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov 3 at the intersection of Trumbull and Reservoir avenues in Bridgeport. According to Detective Thomas Harper of the Bridgeport Police, the 19-year-old was waiting for his 9-year-old cousin at the bus stop on Trumbull Avenue when a vehicle drove up and someone inside shot him, causing life-threatening injuries.
