Peekskill Middle School Chorus Sing At Daisy Jopling Concert PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Peekskill Middle School chorus had a once-in-a-lifetime experience by singing with Daisy Jopling at her concert this past weekend. Shrub Oak Man Charged With Cocaine Possession SHRUB OAK, N.Y. -- A Shurb Oak man was arrested on charges of possession of cocaine after police investigated a report of a suspicious man inside a vehicle, Yorktown Police said. Robert W. Madsen, 33, has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth-degree after an arrest on Friday where he allegedly was in possession of .7 grams of cocaine. Madsen is due back in court on Dec. 10.

Ho-Ho-Kus Police Warn Residents About Fox HO-HO-KUS, N.J. -- Ho-Ho-Kus residents are being warned to not approach or feed a large red fox that has been seen on the west side of town.  The fox is exhibiting behavior suggesting that it is being fed by someone in the area, police said.  Healthy red foxes virtually pose no danger to humans, but foxes do prey on domestic animals and small livestock.  Click here for more info on New Jersey foxes.

She was 86.  Wood was born April 5, 1929, to Anthony and Mary Franchino, in Passaic. She was raised in Wallington and moved to Bayville in 1994. She worked for the He Ro Group in Secaucus for many years.
