Sleepy Hollow High Club Collects For Local Pet Food Pantry SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. -- Students from Sleepy Hollow High School's Promoting Animal Welfare club held a collection for local pet food pantries. Students, along with advisors, Ms. Berry and Ms. Horn, held a supply drive at Stop & Shop in Tarrytown on Dec. 5, collecting eight full shopping carts of dog and cat food, treats, and other pet supplies.  All items were donated to various rescue groups, as well as the Westchester Pet Food Pantry.

Holiday Transit Schedules For Rockland Announced ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Department of Public Transportation has announced transit service schedules for the upcoming holidays.  Dec. 25 and Jan. 1 – Transport of Rockland (TOR) buses will operate Sunday service. He was 88.  Tortora was born in 1927 to Paul and Emma Tortora. He graduated from North Tarrytown High School in 1946 and earned a bachelor's degree from New York University and a master's degree from Columbia Teachers College.  He served in the Army/Air Force from 1946-48 and the U.S. Air Force from 1950-52. Brewster Wrestling Team's Fundraiser Supports 9/11 First Responders BREWSTER, N.Y. -- The Brewster Wrestling Team is hosting a night out to raise money for the first responders of 9/11.  The night will include baked goods, a 50/50 raffle and a disc jockey. Peekskill Man, 22, Fatally Shot PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- A 22-year-old Peekskill man was fatally shot last night on Park Street, according to multiple reports. Officers responded to the scene after hearing gunshots at approximately 10 p.m. The victim unresponsive and he was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital where he later died, reported News 12.  The identity of the victim has not been released.
