Westport Praises Residents For Use Of Single Stream Recycling WESTPORT, Conn. -- Westport Director of Public Works Stephen Edwards issued a statement and a reminder to Westport residents about single stream recycling. Westport, along with nine other neighboring communities, has just completed its fourth year using single stream recycling. Since its inception in 2011, single stream recycling has accounted for the recycling of 14,036.24 tons of recyclables.
