Wilson first joined the board’s Executive Committee in 2009, serving as chair of the Scholarship Committee and as vice president. Her involvement with P2P reflects her passion for helping others maximize their full potential through education, counseling, training and development.
Wilson, who is certified in school counseling and school social work by the State of Connecticut, is currently employed by the Stamford Public Schools as a high school counselor.
Wilson is an adjunct faculty member with the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service and Norwalk Community College Human Services Program.
She serves as an academic coach to high school students with the New Canaan Country Day Horizons Academic Program and facilitates workshops throughout Fairfield County and Westchester County. An active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and her church, Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church of Stamford, Wilson serves on several committees and ministries.
Wilson received a bachelor’s degree in social work from Sacred Heart University, graduating cum laude. She earned a master's in social work from Fordham University.
Wilson went on to earn a Sixth Year Advanced Degree in School Counseling from Fairfield University and was inducted into the Chi Sigma Iota International Honor Society. She recently completed studies at Sacred Heart University for certification in Educational Leadership.
