Rowayton Hosts Santa Run Toy Drive

ROWAYTON, Conn. – The Rowayton Civic Association's Santa Run toy drive will be held on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Santa will board a fire engine "sleigh" and make the following stops:

  • the Rowayton train station at 1 p.m.;
  • the corner of Crest and Ridgewood at 1:10 p.m.;
  • the Rowayton Library at 1:20 p.m.;
  • the Bell Island Gatehouse at 1:30 p.m.;
  • the Beach Association Boat House at 1:40 p.m.; Brendan's 101 at 2 p.m.; and
  • the Rowayton Fire House from 2:15 to 2:45 p.m.

Members of the Rowayton Volunteer Fire Department will be collecting new toys for at-risk children in the area. Accepted donations include unwrapped toys, gift cards or other gifts appropriate for children ages 4 to 13.

Donations can be dropped off during Santa’s scheduled stops on the toy run or at the Fire House on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Toys will be donated to the George Washington Carver Center in South Norwalk and distributed at its annual holiday party.
