Speeding Fredericksburg Driver Dies In I-95 Crash: State Police
A 34-year-old Fredericksburg man was killed in a crash on I-95 earlier this week. Lord Elsun J. Warren was heading south on the highway when his 2012 Nissan Altima ran off the left side of the road and struck a jersey wall around 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, Virginia State Police said. Warren, whose vehicle crashed at mile marker 146 in Stafford County, was taken to Stafford Hospital, where he later died. The driver was believed to have been speeding and not wearing a seatbelt, police said. The crash remains under investigation.

New Details Released In PWC Death Investigation
New details have been released after a 68-year-old man died at the hospital days after running a red light while suffering a medical emergency in Prince William County. Haymarket resident Michael Earl Blaylock died on Monday nearly two weeks after he was involved in a crash at the intersection of Lee Highway and Webb Drive in Gainesville, officials announced on Wednesday, though the crash was not to blame or his death. A 25-year-old Virginia man surrendered to authorities in connection with a crash that left the manager of a Washington DC nightclub in critical condition. Danny Vasquez, of Woodbridge, was charged with leaving after collided on a warrant in connection with the Sept. 3 incident on Jefferson Drive SW, DC Metro police said. Stephen K. One Dead, Two Airlifted To DC Hospitals Following Crash In MD, State Police Say
One person was killed and two others were airlifted to area hospitals following a fatal crash in Charles County on Monday morning. At approximately 9:30 a.m. on Monday, June 12, a Dodge Durango was driving on US Route 301 near MD Route 234 when the driver struck an embankment and overturned the truck, state police say. Garbage Truck Overturns In Stafford, Spills Trash On Road: Police
A waste trailer rolled over on Wednesday morning, July 6, in Stafford County and caused delays, authorities said. The truck overturned around 6:30 a.m. on Chatham Heights Road near Kings Highway, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office said. No one was injured, but the wreck caused garbage to spill onto the road. Deputies closed a portion of Chatham Heights Road as they worked to clean up the mess. That caused delays for commuters trying to maneuver through that area on Wednesday morning.
