School Placed In Partial Lockdown In Stafford County For Disturbance (Developing)

An elementary school in Stafford County has been placed in a partial lockdown on Monday afternoon due to a disturbance in the area, according to the sheriff's office.

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 3, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office issued an alert advising that Conway Elementary School has been placed in the partial lockdown due to a disturbance in the Leeland Station subdivision.

The sheriff's office did not disclose the nature of the disturbance. The lockdown protocol was only initiated as a precaution, according to officials.
