Loyalty Card Leads Police Straight To Man Convicted Of Liquor Store Shooting In DC: Feds
Loyalty cost a District man who was convicted of a Southeast DC shooting, federal authorities announced. Vincent James, 39, was convicted by a jury in DC Superior Court following a three-day trial after a shooting outside a Southeast DC liquor store in July 2020. Prosecutors say that at around 2 a.m. on July 30, 2020, James shot a complaining witness several times in the torso while in the parking lot of Spar Liquors on South Capitol Street SE.
