String Of ATM Thefts, Armed Robbery Minutes Apart Probed In Fairfax County
Police in Fairfax County are investigating a string of ATM thefts and an armed robbery that happened minutes apart. Around 3:10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, three suspect tried to force open an ATM at TD Bank of Little River Turnpike in Lincolnia, county police said. They were unsuccessful. Woman Escapes Rapist From Internet Who Pushed Her Down Stairs: Fairfax County PD
A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a Fairfax County rape of a woman he'd met online, authorities said. Yeudy Saul Chavez Sandoval, of Kingstowne, lured the victim into an apartment on the 6000 block of Alexandria Avenue in Fort Hunt around 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, then pushed her down the stairs, county police said. The woman suffered serious injuries and was then raped by Sandoval, before escaping and calling 911, police said.
