The VDOT site said the south right land and shoulder were closed at mile marker 264 in New Market, Shenandoah County as of 5:40 p.m. Update: Crash: SB on I-81 at MM264.0 (1.2mi south of US-211 Exit264) in Shenandoah Co. 1 SB travel lane closed. Delay 2 mi. 4:56PM — 511 Virginia (@511statewideva) May 5, 2024 Emergency response vehicles were at the scene. Traffic backups are approximately 2.5 miles.
