Train's Charlie Colin Dies, 58

Charlie Colin, a Virginia native and founding member of the band Train, died at 58 years old.

The bassist was raised in Virginia before moving to California, but had been living in Belgium at the time of his death, according to his social media profiles.

Train penned a tribute to Colin on X, saying he was "THE sweetest guy."

Colin attended University of Southern California and transferred to Berklee College of Music. He wrote jingles in Singapore before founding the band Apostles, before Train in 1993.

Some of Train's greatest hits include "Drops of Jupiter," "Meet Virginia," and "Hey Soul Sister."
