VA School Board Member Charged In Jan. 6 Capitol Riot 'Won't Be Bullied Off Board' A member of a Virginia school board charged in the Jan. 6, 2021 US Capitol riot tells Daily Voice he won't be resigning. Miles Adkins, who sits on the Frederick County School Board, was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 27, according to an FBI affidavit. "We don't allow bullies in the schools so I'm not going to be bullied off the board," said Adkins, who represents the Shawnee district.
