Winchester Man Leads Police On Multi-County Chase, Caught After Hiding On Quantico Base
A 40-year-old Winchester man is behind bars after a wild multi-county police chase that ended with him hiding on Quantico Marine Corps Base, officials said.
The pursuit began around 10:20 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30, when a Stafford County deputy spotted a stolen Ford heading south on Richmond Highway near the I-95 ramp.
As the deputy attempted a traffic stop, the driver, later identified as Richard Wolfe, made a U-turn and sped northbound, police said.

Chaos broke out at an unsupervised party in Stafford County that got out of hand and a fight spilled out into the street, according to the sheriff's office.
Shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, deputies were called to a home on Clear Spring Lane to investigate a report of a fight that resulted in charges for five women and a man who involved in the altercation.
Responding deputies were able to separate the people involved in the incident.

Members of the Fredericksburg Police Department busted local resident Jerome Blake III, 37, during a stop last week, during which he was caught attempting to hide a weapon, but was not quick enough to pull a fast one on officers.

A Rochester, NY man whose dog bit a Loudoun County deputy after leading a reckless pursuit that landed four people in the hospital has been sentence to prison time.
Justin Connor, of Rochester, NY, who was 27 at the time of the July 2023 incident, was sentenced on May 23, 2024 to seven years and three months in prison by Judge Matthew P. Snow, the county sheriff's office announced.
