There was no love in the air for a District man on Valentine's Day this year after he was sentenced to prison time for accosting a man nearly three years ago. A dog is missing from a Southeast DC home following a home invasion, and now the police are attempting to track it down. "Lola" was taken after a burglary that was reported on New Year's Eve in the 100 block of Atlantic Street SE, according to a Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson. Police say that shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 31, two people knocked on their victim's door, and when they answered, the pair pushed their way into the home and assaulted them. A 23-year-old District man who was involved in a criminal street gang will spend decades behind bars for his role in what prosecutors called a "brazen" shooting. Predator Admits To Coercing Children Into Sexual Acts Through Social Media In DC
Federal officials announced that a District man has admitted to coercing nearly a dozen children to engage in unlawful sexual activity through online sextortion.
