Karlos Kinney Killed Resha Blount Attacked Jordan Jones
A District man has admitted to his role in the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old woman and a subsequent attack on an inmate while behind bars inside a DC jail, federal authorities announced. Karlos Kinney, 24, pleaded guilty this week in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia to voluntary manslaughter while armed in the April 2020 shooting death of Resha Blount and also to assault with significant bodily injury for a November 2022 attack on inmate Jordan Jones while detained.
