DC Pedestrian, 25, Killed In Hit-And-Run Accident A D.C. woman was killed after she was struck by a car while walking in an intersection, police said. On September 4, at around 8:30 p.m., 25-year-old Jasmine Butler was crossing Southern Avenue when a car sped through a red light in the intersection, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. The vehicle hit Butler and the driver sped off without revealing their identity, officials reported.
