Metro Train Derails Near Reagan Airport With 50 Passengers On Board Some travelers were left in a lurch on Friday morning when a train derailed near Reagan National Airport.  Service was suspended temporarily on the Blue and Yellow lines on Friday, Sept. 29 as officials investigated a derailment that impacted at least 50 passengers who were on board at the time.
