At around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, officials say that a 19-year-old was found dead in Frederickson Hall, prompting James Madison University Police to call for an inquiry by the Virginia State Police's Bureau of Criminal Investigation. Services have been set for the 44-year-old man struck and killed by a pickup truck in Loudoun County last week. Shawn M. Potter, of Chantilly, was crossing John Mosby Highway near Pleasant Valley Road in Chantilly early Thursday, July 27, when he was struck by a pickup truck, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said.
