A pair of former Warren County Sheriff's Office employees have been served with new indictments in connection with a deadly traffic stop in April 2022, Virginia State Police announced.
On Monday, April 8, 2024, a Warren County grand jury handed up one felony count of homicide against Zachary A. Fadely, 31, of Shenandoah County, and one felony count of homicide against Tyler S. Poe, 27, of Warren County, police said.

An 85-year-old Virginia man has been charged with sexually assaulting two girls between 2015 and 2022, authorities said.
John Pasquale DeMarco, of Gainesville, was being held on $5,000 unsecured bond on accusations he sexually assaulted the victims, who were under the ages 13 and 15, between January 2015 and November 2022, Prince William County police said.
The assaults occurred at a home in Gainesville, police said.

A Gainesville man was arrested after he violently attacked a woman in his home earlier this week, police said.
Officers responded to a home in the 10500 block of Neale Sound Court at 2:38 a.m. Tuesday, July 13 to investigate a fight that involved a 20-year-old woman who was strangled, Prince William County Police Said.

Both suspects wanted in connection with a recent shooting that killed an 18-year-old male are in police custody, authorities said.
Malachi Coleman, 20, and Keyontae Newman, 16, were wanted for their involved in a shooting at the Somerset Pointe Apartments in Gainesville on Sunday, May 8, Prince William County police said.
