A strange scene played out on Wednesday afternoon when a man boarded a Prince George's County school bus and was later dropped off in the DC area before coming back, according to police. An investigation was launched at 2:05 p.m. on Oct. 23, when a passerby called 911 after spotting a grown man getting on the bus in the 4100 block of Suitland Road, which was occupied by three elementary school students. Parking Spot Shootout: 2 Neighbors Wounded In Fairfax County
A dispute over a parking spot led to a shootout between two neighbors in Fairfax County, authorities said. One man was found in his kitchen and the other in his foyer several townhouses away, both suffering from gunshot wounds, when police arrived at the scene at the 14000 block of Golden Oak Road in Centreville around 11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, county police said. Rent Dispute Ends In Standoff With Armed Suspect In Stafford County: Sheriff
A 63-year-old Stafford man was jailed after a rent dispute and accidental gun firing causing a standoff this week, authorities said. Glenn Conner and the victim were arguing in a home on the 500 block of Ferry Road Thursday, Aug. 3, around noon, when Conner got a gun and brandished it toward the victim, Stafford County Sheriff David Decatur said.
