A Prince George’s County man will spend more than a decade behind bars after admitting to a string of armed robberies across DC and Maryland, authorities announced Wednesday.
Andrew Trayvon Hale, 27, formerly of Bowie, was sentenced in federal court to 15 years in prison followed by three years of supervised release for his role in 11 armed robberies, including discharging a firearm during one of the crimes, according to the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland.

The Metropolitan Police Department has issued a fresh alert as they attempt to locate a man who has been missing since last summer.
Maxwell Braschnewitz, 26, has not been seen since Monday, July 31, 2023, after disappearing from the 2200 block of Massachusetts Avenue NW in DC, and the agency is still on the hunt for him.
Police say that the missing man was first reported on Wednesday, Aug. 30.

A second person has been arrested in connection to the Mother's Day shooting that killed 10-year-old Arianna Davis in DC last year.
Dallas McKinney, 19, of Southeast DC, has been arrested and charged with murder, joining 19-year-old Koran Gregory, who was arrested last fall following an investigation.
