Facebook Marketplace Thief Steals $1,400 Tool, Police In Bloomingdale Say Police in Passaic County have arrested a man who they say stole a $1,400 vehicle programming tool from a victim he met on Facebook marketplace. Jayson Moralessales, of Orange, agreed to meet the suspect in person to buy the tool, but instead, fled with the item without paying on Oct. 5, police in Bloomingdale said. West New York Motorcyclist, 39, Killed In County Crash A 39-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Sussex County crash over the weekend. Frank Jimeno, of West New York, was heading north on Route 23 on a KTM motorcycle when he veered off the side of the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail in Montague Township at milepost 50 Sunday, Oct. 6 around 10:30 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. Jimeno died as a result of the crash, which remains under investigation.

Aviation Repair Shop Damaged By Vehicle That Rolled Off Tow Truck On Route 17 In Has Heights A truck being towed down Route 17 fell off the tow truck and seriously damaged a building overnight, firefighters said. The Hasbrouck Heights and Wood-Ridge fire departments were called to the southbound side of the highway around midnight. There, they found the antique truck into the side of Miraj Corporation, an aircraft repair company, at 345 Route 17. While no injuries were reported, the impact caused significant damage to the building, the fire department said.
